Good to know.
The practical answers about the model, paid renders, credits, private output, and the path from a first frame to a public work.
01What is MiniMax H3?+
MiniMax H3 is a multimodal video model for short text-to-video and image-to-video clips. H3 Studio exposes 768P and 2K output, 4-15 second durations, and supported frame ratios.
02Do I get a free generation?+
No. You can browse the curated Gallery and prepare a prompt without an account, but a live render requires Google sign-in and purchased credits.
03How are credits calculated?+
768P uses 8 credits per output second and 2K uses 13 credits per output second. The exact quote appears in the generator before submission.
04What happens if a render fails?+
If MiniMax does not return a playable video, the full quoted credit amount is returned exactly once. The job remains in your Dashboard with the failure reason and a retry path.
05How long are private videos kept?+
Private output files are retained for 30 days after success, then deleted while the task metadata remains. Public, reviewed works follow the public retention policy.
06Can I publish a generated video?+
Yes. New renders are Private by default. You can request Public review from the job detail page; approved works receive a shareable page and may enter the Gallery.
